This multi award winning museum, completed in 2005, deals with Wales’ history of industrial revolution and innovation. The museum is in two parts and the exhibitions are housed in both the museum’s original Grade II listed warehouse and a new building, whose design requirements were specifically co-ordinated to accommodate them. The exhibition features a significant volume of collections and sophisticated multimedia, and the museum is one of the first to feature multi lingual voice overs and braille.
