Fashion on the Ration was a key exhibition at the Imperial War Museum London marking the seventieth anniversary of the end of the Second World War. It examined the effects of clothes rationing in Britain, on both the home and war fronts, as well as the impact on the lives of British people, in the services, at work or at home. The exhibition showcased an extensive display of clothing, textiles and objects and provided a fascinating insight into wartime Britain, through audio-visual displays and photography to inform the visitor of the realities of day-to-day life during the War.
Fraser Randall undertook the cost management to successfully deliver this project within budget, and assist the client to address the unique challenges of the complex tendering and contracting processes for Fashion on the Ration.
