Fraser Randall have been appointed as Technical Project Managers by Wrexham Museum for the ‘Museum of Two Halves Project’ – the shorthand name to describe the project that will see the development of a Football Museum for Wales and a new Wrexham Museum.

We are responsible for the procurement of the Base build and Fit-Out contractors, as well as managing the Construction and Fit-Out phases until the project’s full delivery in 2026.

The Football Museum will be an immersive experience, where visitors will learn about the history and here and now of football in Wales through three distinct galleries, one will showcase the big clubs to grass roots level, another the story of the men’s and women’s game and a third will be a dedicated fan zone. The newly developed Wrexham Museum will be split into five galleries that together will allow visitors to explore the varied histories of the city and county borough.

The Museum of Two Halves project is being developed by Wrexham Council’s museum team in association with museum designers, Haley Sharpe Design and architects, Purcell Architecture. The project is being supported with funding from the Welsh Government, Wrexham County Borough Council, UK Government – Sharing Prosperity Fund, with additional support from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Once open, the Football Museum will be operated and managed by Wrexham Council.
