Africa Fashion
- V&A
Africa Fashion explored the vibrancy, innovation, and cultural power of contemporary African design, celebrating a new generation of designers redefining global fashion on their own terms. From Lagos to Johannesburg, the exhibition captured a moment of transformation, as African fashion capitals rise to rival established centres of influence, fuelled by digital platforms, bold aesthetics, and a deep connection to heritage.
As the first major exhibition of its kind at the V&A, Africa Fashion placed historically overlooked designers at the forefront, showcasing work that blends tradition with radical self-expression and reshaping the global fashion conversation.
Fraser Randall was appointed by the V&A as Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor, and Principal Designer, overseeing the full delivery of this high-profile exhibition.
