Landmark Sound and Vision Galleries

We’re proud to be playing a part in one of the UK’s most exciting cultural transformations.Fraser Randall has been working with the brilliant team at the Media museum in Bradford on the creation of the new Sound and Vision Galleries, a landmark £6 million project that recently opened to the public on 10th July. These two ambitious new galleries celebrate the incredible collections of photography, film, television, sound, animation and video games that make the museum a leader in its field. But just as importantly, they have been developed with Bradford’s local communities, ensuring that the museum reflects the city’s energy, diversity and future-focused identity. Bradford is one of the UK’s youngest and fastest-growing cities, and as it takes centre stage as UK City of Culture 2025, the Sound and Vision Galleries positions the museum as a cultural cornerstone for the region. This project also supports the city’s wider ambition to grow a thriving digital economy through its ‘Culture is Our Plan’ strategy.
