The Oman Display Corridor

News

We’re proud to share one of our recent international projects – the Oman Display Corridor at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, delivered for the Embassy of Oman.

This significant refurbishment was formally inaugurated in the presence of the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, the President of the General Assembly, and Oman’s Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr Al Busaidi — a reflection of the project’s cultural and diplomatic importance.

This was the first collaboration between Fraser Randall and the Embassy of Oman, and we were delighted to work alongsidethe project designers, Journey.

Our role as Quantity Surveyors encompassed the preparation of budgets, design stage costing, and the management of the full tender process. Once the contractor was appointed, we oversaw the change management process and monthly valuations throughout delivery.

Despite a challenging programme, the project was completed on time and on budget, thanks to strong collaboration and clear communication between all partners involved.
