Hollywood Costume Exhibition
Hollywood Costume explored the art and impact of costume design in cinema, revealing how wardrobe shapes character, narrative, and audience connection on screen. Conceived by Oscar-nominated curator Deborah Landis, the exhibition featured more than 100 iconic costumes, supported by original scripts, photographs, props and film clips.
Life-sized interviews with actors, designers, and directors created the feeling of intimate, behind-the-scenes conversation, while the exhibition culminated in a striking visual finale- 50 of Hollywood’s most recognisable costumes brought to life through innovative face projection and atmospheric soundscapes.
A sell-out during its six-month run at the V&A, Hollywood Costume went on to tour internationally to critical and commercial acclaim.
Fraser Randall was appointed at concept stage and provided full Project and Cost Management, Design Management, Contract Administration, and CDMC services, supporting the exhibition’s creative ambition and operational success from inception to delivery.
