King Rama IX Museum
The King Rama IX Museum was created to honour the legacy of King Rama IX of Thailand, celebrating the planet’s diversity and his pioneering efforts in sustainability and environmental conservation for over 70 years. As the latest development on the National Science Museum’s Technology Campus near Bangkok, the museum is designed to house immersive galleries and a mini tropical ecosystem, providing visitors with an interactive exploration of the natural world.
Fraser Randall was appointed to project manage and lead the content development and interpretation for the museum, working closely with the National Science Museum’s team.
Our Role
- Led the content development and interpretation for twelve galleries, crafting a compelling storytelling approach to sustainability and environmental science.
- Assembled a global team of subject matter experts, ensuring a scientifically rigorous and engaging visitor experience.
- Developed exhibit briefs in collaboration with international scientific advisors, translating complex topics into accessible and educational experiences.
- Worked closely with the National Science Museum’s Technology Campus team, ensuring a cohesive and immersive visitor journey.
- Designed interactive learning experiences to inspire and educate audiences of all ages.
