Pirates
Pirates set out to uncover the truth behind one of the world’s most enduring myths – tracing the image of the pirate from the so-called Golden Age through to its influence on fashion, film, and contemporary culture. Hosted at the National Maritime Museum, the exhibition brought together nearly 200 objects and archival materials, with loans from the V&A, BFI, and National Archives.
Combining literature, theatre, and immersive design, Pirates invited visitors to look beyond the legend – exploring both the historical realities of piracy and its ongoing impact on modern oceans.
Fraser Randall provided Cost Management and Contract Administration, supporting the development and delivery of this dynamic, cross-disciplinary exhibition.
